Always swim between the red and yellow flags, as this area is actively patrolled by lifeguards. ​
Avoid swimming alone.​
If you encounter difficulties in the water, raise your hand and shout for assistance.​
In emergencies, refrain from attempting a rescue yourself. Instead, alert a lifeguard or call 999 or 112 and request the coastguard.​
