Green Acres Cottages
Enjoy a 4 or 7-night stay at Green Acres Cottages on Cornwall’s south coast. Ideally situated to explore the pretty town of Fowey, the Eden Project, Charlestown (as featured in Poldark) and The Lost Gardens of Heligan and Lanhydrock, the country cottages have welcome log fires and a shared indoor heated swimming pool – great for the toning up after Christmas and New Year!
Green Acres is close to ‘Daphne Du Maurier’ country as the author lived and wrote from nearby Menabilly. Accessed via the southwest coast path from Par to Fowey, the 7-mile walk starts at Par Sands and takes a pathway around St Austell Bay, through Polkerris Beach and onto Gribben Head.
A small children’s playground is on site and adjacent to the cottages is a small farm where fresh produce is often available. Dogs are welcome in two of the cottages and are charged at £6 per dog per night.
