A foodie line up of events
Mouthwatering Cornish food and drink seems to be the order of autumn in Cornwall with one fantastic food festival leading to the next!
10 – 27 September
Eden’s Festival of Food
A host of famous chefs including Lesley Waters, Jean-Christophe Novelli, Ken Hom, Phil Vickery and some of the Bake Off winners will be giving cookery demos and tips during the festival.
11 – 13 September
Newquay Fish Festival
Fish, food, live cooking demos and entertainment including a late night Proms at 7pm at the harbour on Friday.

Redruth Pasty and Mining Festival
Mining Day (11th), Pasty Day (12th) and Memorial Day (13th) are celebrated in the town centre. Live music, pasty bake offs, a fairground and craft stalls with street entertainment.

St Ives September Festival

South East Cornwall Walking Festival
Walks exploring the Tamar Valley to Looe area including chances to join in with suppers and themed walks.

Truro Day
A day of entertainment and fun in Boscawen Park.

Looe Music Festival
Jools Holland, The Proclaimers, Bad Madders, Johnny Marr, Buzzcocks, Red Hot Chilli Pipers, Mad Dog McCrea and other music acts.

Bude for Food
All things foodie in the castle grounds – food demos, local producers, stalls and a bespoke picnic tent.
25 – 27 September
Great Cornish Food Festival
Cornwall’s biggest food festival celebrating local produce with over 60 local artisans and 40 chefs taking part. Held at Lemon Quay in Truro.
3 – 4 October
Boscastle Food, Arts & Craft Festival
A gala evening followed by a chance to taste some great local produce. Food, arts and crafts stalls and live entertainment.
7 October
Callington Honey Fair
Traditional honey fair celebrated throughout the town.
8 – 11 October
Falmouth Oyster Festival
Held to celebrate the start of the oyster dredging season, chef demos and tastings in the marquee plus live entertainment.
10 – 11 October
Stand Up Paddle Surfing National Championships
Watch as competitors take to the waves at Watergate Bay.
22 – 24 October
Falmouth Beer Festival
Showcasing hundreds of beers, real ales, ciders and ginger beers at Princess Pavilion, there’s also free non-alcoholic drinks for designated drivers.
