Camel Valley Winery
Camel Valley, UK wine maker of the year amasses more awards. In an idyllic setting on the sun-drenched slopes near the Camel River traditional practices combine with a modern approach.
Vineyard tours are relaxed and friendly and the location is stunning. Sitting on the terrace sipping Camel Valley wine on a summer’s afternoon is magical. You’ll find the attitude of Sam Lindo and his team refreshingly down to earth – there’s no snobbery here, just a deep and enthusiastic love of wine that you’ll find most infectious. If a tour is not for you then Camel Valley sell wine by the glass on the terrace throughout the day or of course you may prefer to dive straight in and buy a case from the cellar door. Delivery can also be arranged.
Sorry no dogs, except guide dogs. There’s shaded parking for cars with dogs, but best to please choose a cool day to visit.
