Festive diary dates for Cornwall
Cornwall has Christmas wrapped up for you with bustling markets full of unique gifts, late night shopping, magical christmas light displays, winter festivals and don’t forget there’s ice skating at the Eden Project from 29th November onwards.
26 November
Truro late night Christmas shopping
Shop until 9pm with a festive street market from 5pm. Father Christmas will be showing off his real reindeer in Victoria Square at 6pm before they join the town parade.
28 – 30 November
Newquay Festive Festival
Christmas events kick off in Newquay with real life reindeer at Hotel Victoria from 3 – 6pm on Friday followed by a children’s magical lantern parade from 6.30 – 8pm from Cliff Road to Fore Road. Do a spot of late night shopping in town before watching the fireworks over the harbour at 8.30pm. Further festivities will then take place over the weekend.
30 November
Camelford Winter Festival
Christmas lights and fireworks at Bandstand, Enfield Park 5.45 – 10pm.
1 December
Cornish Christmas Evening
Free entry for all to the magical Lantern-Lit Northern Gardens at Heligan. Enjoy 10% off in the Heligan Shop which will be stocked full of goodies including locally made Christmas decorations or listen to choirs singing whilst indulging in some tearoom treats. 5.30 – 9.30pm with last entry 7.30pm.
3 December

Santa by Steam
See Santa aboard Bodmin and Wenford Railway with presents for the children and mince pies and seasonal refreshments for adults. £12.95 per person.

Padstow Christmas Festival
Join the Christmas festive celebrations in Padstow with bustling Christmas artisan markets, festive light switch on, Santa Fun Run and a host of top chefs ready to share their expertise.
6 to 7 December
Fowey Christmas Market
Fowey’s 10th anniversary Christmas Market has grown so large it’s now located in two sites in the town! Crafts, food, art, jewellery, beauty and many more stalls, all accompanied by live music.10am – 4pm daily.
8 December

Truro Victorian Christmas Market
In its 10th year, the market takes place in the large heated marquee in Lemon Quay Piazza in the centre of town. Split into two sections, a ‘Food Hall’ and ‘Arts, Crafts and Gifts’, there is also a large seated cafe area. Enjoy the festive atmosphere as a competition for the best decorated stall and best dressed trader will be taking place. Late night opening until 9pm on Wednesday 10th December.

Truro’s Big Christmas Sing
Join in with the carols at Truro Cathedral, 7.30pm.
13 December
Mousehole Christmas Lights
Bring Christmas and legends to life and join the open air carol service at 7.30pm as the famous Mousehole lights are switched on for the 51st year!
13 – 14 December
Heartlands Christmas Market Weekend
Tasty treats, unique crafts and local produce market with festive music, choirs and bands. Free entry from 11am.
