There are many ghost stories associated with Cornwall, myths and legends. The tale of King Arthur is one of the most famous and Tintagel Castle is reputedly haunted. But there are haunted inns like the Punch Bowl, the Crumplehorn and the Jamaica Inn. Haunted houses like Lanhydrock, Trerice Manor and Cotehele all have stories to tell. Visit Bodmin Jail or Poldark Mine for a scare.

But now, residents near Newquay say that their cars are possessed!!

Locking and unlocking themselves by mysteriously activating the doors and even trapping a frightened child inside. Residents have dubbed the area the “Summercourt Triangle” and are completely baffled.  Alarms going off, doors locking and drivers locked out, the Cornish ghosts and spectres are having fun!

Until the mystery is solved, this will have to join the myths and fables that give Cornwall a special magic that will keep you visiting time and time again.
