It’s not too late to think about a May half-term getaway. The May half-term holidays are a popular time of year for a family break and we still have a handful of self-catering units available. Also at Porth Veor Manor Hotel, we have availability from 25 May onwards.

At the time of writing our 2014 May half-term availability is as follows:

Bay Retreat Villas in St Merryn, near Padstow

All dates available, choice of standard or dog-friendly villas. 4 nights from £570 per villa and 7 nights from £950. Dogs (max 2) charged at £6 per dog per night.

Juliots Well Cottages in Camelford, near Boscastle

All dates are available in a standard cottage. Also available in a dog-friendly cottage. Prices just reduced down to £405 for 4 nights and £640 for 7 nights.

The Beach House Apartments overlooking Porth Beach

Just one inland view apartment available. 4 nights from £540 per cottage and 7 nights from £900.

Green Acres Cottages in Penpillick, near the Eden Project

Just one dog friendly cottage available from 26 May for up to 7 nights. 4 nights from £570 per cottage and 7 nights from £950. Dogs (max 2) charged at £6 per dog per night.

Waves Apartments at Watergate Bay

Just one standard apartment is available from 26 May onwards. 4 nights from £435 per apartment and 7 nights from £725.

Beachcombers Apartments at Watergate Bay

Limited availability from 27 May onwards in one and two bedroom apartments. One bedroom apartments: 4 nights from £435 per apartment and 7 nights from £725.  Two-bedroom apartments: 4 nights from £570 per apartment and 7 nights from £950.
